About Me

No, I’m not a hippy, but I was responsible for a minute part of the planet’s pain when I was younger.  As the years have flown and I have grown into an adult and then became a wife and mother, I have begun to see the foolishness of the human race.

Throughout the medium of TV and the Internet, I have continually seen mindless damage and selfish attitudes of the people we put all our hopes in.  The world governments and these massive corporations are only interested in being the biggest, the best and the richest.  They will do this in whatever means they can.  If it means killing the planet then so be it.

But wait………now there is back-peddling.  They are now stating that they have been doing things wrong for years and that it is the people’s fault for wanting so much, fine, pass the buck if that makes you feel better, but the blame cannot be thrown around.  Who cares about who is to blame, the important issue is what is going to be done about it.

I have been passionate about the small steps for years.  Reducing, Reusing and Recycling.  That is my little bit.  I also founded a Re-use organisation in the UK called RealCycle.  Originally I was a moderator for Freecycle, but with the constant battle of wits and the belief that a large charitable reuse organisation should stay well away from politics, I took my group and with a small band of other groups around the UK - RealCycle was born.

This blog is my hopes for my children and the world that we leave our future generations.
